Membership (Article 4)

Membership of GSAW shall be opened to all people of the world irrespective of colour, race and creed who accept its principles, policy, programmes and all rules.

Member Rights

  • Right to express positive views and opinions
  • Right to take part in elections and be elected or appointed to any committee
  • Constructive criticism will be appreciated
  • Opportunity to stand as candidate for ward/municipality
  • Participate in branch, regional & provincial structures
  • Access to provincial WhatsApp community group
  • Receive party news, updates & campaign materials

Member Obligations

  • All members should abide by the GSAW Constitution
  • Members should not belong to any other political party
  • Must sign the Membership Application Form and pay the Membership fee
  • Every member shall belong to a branch (basic unit of organisation)
  • Insults and fighting will be regarded as self-dismissal
  • All members are bound to follow the rules, procedures and obligations

Branch Structure

Every member belongs to a branch (minimum 20 members). Branches meet at least once per month. The branch executive meets at least once per fortnight. Branches are registered with the Provincial Executive Committee.

Grounds for Discipline (Article 20)

Any action against the Constitution, policy, decisions, rules or regulations of GSAW. Any unlawful or criminal offence. Insults and fighting are regarded as self-dismissal.

Membership Declaration

"I solemnly declare that I will abide by the aims, objectives and policies of God Save Africa and the World (GSAW) as set out in the Constitution. I voluntarily join GSAW without any motive of personal gain or material benefit. I commit to live by Christian principles, participate actively in my branch, and uphold Godly values in all my dealings. I further declare that I do not belong to any other political party and commit to defend the vision of a united, non-racial, non-sexist and democratic South Africa under God."
